I worked with BeneStream to have my eligible employees enrolled into Medicaid... after the enrollment process, a number of our employees had a better health insurance outcome and our agency reduced costs without harming our workers.

Heritage Christian Services opened two new group homes in January of 2010.  We were very pleased to be able to use the Shared Resources Purchasing Network partnership with SEARS.  It took one phone call to set up the user account with the SEARS staff and we were able to purchase all of the appliances and bedding needed to open these two homes.  The order was delivered promptly within 3 days and the pricing is below the best sale price offered on these products throughout the year.

After meeting with our local Medline representative, it appears we will save between 50% to 60% on many of our medical supplies and durable equipment. What a great benefit to ANCOR members.

Thanks to the discounts we received from Medline, we were able to renew our ANCOR membership. In this time of economic crises and funding challenges, Medline has proven to be an effective partner in helping us realize savings.

When OHI began refitting a house originally designed to serve children to one capable of supporting adults with complex medical needs we knew we needed new furniture. We turned to ANCOR’s SRPN Program for a company to help us. We found that Furniture Concepts has everything from office supply cabinets, to couches, tables and chairs for living areas. We even ordered all our mattresses through them. Sharon Adams, Furniture Concepts’ sales rep, understood OHI’s need to have our refitted facility look and feel like a home, not an institution. Their products have allowed our DSPs to focus on supporting the people living in the home, rather than cleaning and maintaining the home and furnishings. To me, that is what good design is all about.

Almost one-third of my 700 employees signed on to various AFLAC plans. The demographics of the purchases cuts right a cross our agency – from new staff to long term staff from hourly to salary folks ….And we ended up saving $7,000 in payroll taxes to boot…more than our dues are to ANCOR. This is a real win-win scenario that saves real dollars in  these tough times. Yes, the duck has made me a believer! Thank you SRPN (Shared Resources Purchasing Network).

The Shared Resources Purchasing Network has not only saved us money but, because our staff can also participate, it allows us to extend this discount opportunity to our employees.
